WrestleZone’s Top 10 Superstars Of The Year

Number 5: Randy Orton

Top 10 Superstars"The Apex Predator" struck often in 2013. It really wasn't until Money in the Bank where he became the old Orton. He muddled through great matches on Raw, teamed with Daniel Bryan and really kept himself out of the main picture. After grabbing the briefcase in July, it was all Orton. His feud with Daniel Bryan was organic and natural. He was the "face" of WWE, but Daniel Bryan actually was. I loved the irony that WWE gave us with these two men. Orton won the WWE Championship on two different occasions and continues to be one of the most consistent performers in the WWE. You can say whatever you want about booking, but Randy Orton started from the bottom in 2013 and rose to the top. He was pretty much irrelevant, but now is extremely important.
