Number 6: The Rock
"The Great One" returned to the WWE for one more run at the top. He would successfully win the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble, defeating CM Punk in a highly contested bout. He would also keep that title until WrestleMania. Many will argue that he does not belong on this list because he only wrestled three matches this year. Those three matches were HUGE. CM Punk's exposure in the main spotlight was brighter than ever. His rematch with John Cena, although badly booked, made the night memorable. The lasting image of him and Cena will always be a piece of WWE history. The Rock certainly deserves his spot on this list. Everything seems bigger and more important when a Hollywood superstar comes home.
