WrestleZone’s Top 10 Superstars Of The Year

Number 1: John Cena

Top 10 Superstars2013 was certainly a successful year for one of the all-time most controversial champions in the company's history. John Cena had a terrible 2012 year, feuding with the likes of Big Show and John Laurinaitis. 2013 began with a bang for Cena, winning the Royal Rumble and getting a chance to face The Rock, again, at WrestleMania. This time, he would defeat The Rock at MetLife Stadium in front of over 70,000 fans and would continue to make an impact in WWE. He kept this title until SummerSlam, when Daniel Bryan defeated him. All of the months in between showcased how good Cena can be. He would go on and carry good matches against much weaker talent like Ryback, as well as make three weeks of a build against Mark Henry feel like three months. After Cena lost the title, he went away for a few months until he came back and won the World Heavyweight Champion. Because of him, WWE programming is must watch. Because of him, the World Heavyweight Championship has meaning. Because of him, John Cena can be loved or hated but he will always be respected for what he does inside and outside of the squared circle. Cena did it all in 2013.
