CM Punk
Isenberg: CM Punk would be a great guy to win the briefcase, giving him three victories. Every great superstar is associated with a match. CM Punk can be the dominant superstar who owns Money in the Bank. He won two briefcases and had an incredible match and moment with John Cena a few years back. I see Punk climbing the ladder and Brock Lesnar ruining his moment. I can also see Punk holding the briefcase once again. Either way, Punk is Punk. Nothing hurts him anymore, does it?
Killam: Jack Swagger and Alberto del Rio have shown that WWE shouldn't give the briefcase to guys that haven't proven themselves at a main event level. Likewise, John Cena proved that if you give a multi-time world champion the briefcase, there's a distinct possibility people won't take it seriously. CM Punk doesn't need Money in the Bank; any time he want it, he could walk to the ring and demand a title shot. That's exactly why people didn't believe Cena needed the briefcase, and I don't want to see that lackluster win recreated. Punk is still a bit more fresh to the fans, but can you see him walking into SummerSlam to face a guy like Brock Lesnar, carting around a bright red briefcase?
