Number 3: "Mean" Mark Callous to The Undertaker
Mark Calloway had several gimmicks. Texas Red, The Punisher, and The Master of Pain were a few that Calloway had before signing with WCW. In WCW, "Mean" Mark Callous was a character that would be described as a snake lover and a fan of Ozzy Osbourne. Although he would come close to winning a world championship under this name, Lex Luger put an end to that. WCW did not resign him. What a mistake that was, as WWE used his size and stature to create The Undertaker. The Undertaker is the best character ever created. It was simple, it was edgy, and went through minimal changes. Yes, The Undertaker had a few years of being a biker, but he always came back to what made him millions. The Undertaker is a character that WWE preserves time and time again. He does not sign autographs, do interviews, and is rarely seen in public. Mark Calloway is an incredible talent, but The Undertaker gimmick made him a legend that will forever be remembered. All it took was that ONE big character change. From WCW to WWE, Taker became a legend.
