Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction 5-9-13

AbyssThe Main Event

-Sting and Kurt Angle spend the epsiode searching for a teammate. Aces and Eights scare people away and even attack Magnus backstage. This sets them up without a partner. We hear Hogan talking to someone about being their partner, but the match starts without one.

-After about 5 or so minutes, Angle and Sting are in the ring working over Bully Ray, Anderson, and Devon. As Angle is a victim to the number's game, the camera cuts to members of the Aces and Eights layed out backstage. Bully Ray hits a dropkick, yeah, and it actually was not half bad. I appreciate a veteran trying to change his offensive techniques so late in his career. If it makes sense for anyone, it's Bully Ray. As Devon gets a table to attack Sting, Abyss returns. He chokeslams and hit his finisher onto Devon through the table.

-The end showed a return of Abyss. This is very good for a few reasons. First off, Joseph Park is gone. He was getting to a point of complete isolation. He had nothing important and was a random piece in TNA that seemed lost with his persona. Second, now is a great time for a face monster. Abyss, although not my favorite, is a very noticable character that people can attach themselves to. Although Matt Morgan would be more sensible, you need to keep him thriving as a heel. The end gives TNA something to talk about and someone else to try and stop Aces and Eights. It is logical and will further the interest of the fans for the coming weeks.
