Wrestlezone’s Top Ten: Greatest Wrestlemania Superstars of All Time

Number 3: Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan

Was it Hulkamania or Wrestlemania that really cashed in more for Vince McMahon and the WWE? You could argue that neither would have been as big without the other. Hulk Hogan was the first guy to really cross mainstream media into the world of Professional Wrestling. Look at what Hogan has done, bodyslamming Andre The Giant, creating more stars in the process like Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man Randy Savage, and coming back for a dream match against The Rock. I have never been the biggest fan, but money tells the story about Hulk Hogan. Hogan started it all, cashed in immensely, and made Wrestlemania more than an event. It was an attraction, a spectacle, and an event that you COULD…NOT…MISS. He carried the event because of his drawing power for over a decade, and holds the record of maximum main event matches at Wrestlemania. The grand stage for one of the grandest in history, that is what Hulk Hogan did.
