If you ask someone who has never watched wrestling before who Hulk Hogan was, they will know. Hogan is simply the most popular professional wrestler in the history of the sport. With his charisma, his look, and his ability to make little look big, Hogan became the man for over 3 decades. Whether he put on red and yellow, or black and white, Hogan carried two companies to the top. With the success of Hulkamania, Hogan became the first man to really break through into Hollywood. Even more, Hogan did Hollywood without missing much time in the WWE. He paved the way as champion for others to come and fill his shoes. Hogan was first champion in 1984, where he defeated The Iron Sheik. He would lose it for the first time in 1988 to Andre The Giant in Indianapolis, but soon regain his status on top. A 5 time WWE Champion, Hulk did everything right. He is professional wrestling, entertainment, and will always be the guy that started the trend. Whether you loved or hated him in the ring, Hogan is the best WWE Champion of all time.
