Wrestlezone’s Top 10: Intercontinental Champions

Number 8: Mr. Perfect

Talk about a talent who deserved to have more main events in his career. Nonetheless, Curt Hennig was never able to win the world championship, but he certainly made himself as a cult like personality. Fans would love to see him compete in the ring because he was exactly what his name said, and that was Perfect. He would compete in matches with guys like Randy Savage and Bret Hart. No matter who he faced, his name on the card would mean a great match. He made a simple move his finisher, The Perfect Plex. Personally, he is one of my favorites of all time. If you consider what he accomplished in two reigns as Intercontinental Champion, you have to ask yourself why he never became the World Champion. He had the personality, the charisma, and the uncanny ability to steal the show. There are reasons why Dolph Ziggler is compared to him, and that is nothing but an extremely huge compliment. Over 400 total days between two reigns show you that Perfect was the guy to carry the load.
