TNA Bound For Glory 2012: What Did & Did Not Bother Me

What Did NOT Bother Me: World Title Match

Some are criticizing the idea of taking the title off Aries. I can see the arguments as valid, but I think those feeling that way are not considering what's best for "business".

Austin Aries is great, no doubt. He's just not the superstar TNA needs on top right now. Hardy is really the only true "star" TNA has, and there's been talks of him wanting out yet again. If TNA feels this will keep him happy, then I can understand why the decision was made.

Personally, I hate the fact Hardy has so much leverage and I wish TNA could afford to let him go. But I'm just not sure they can. They don't seem to think so either.

That match itself was very good. Both men delivered and proved themselves to be worthy of top billing on the company's largest event of the year. The hot crowd added to the moment and everything just seemed to click.

I might not be the biggest fan of Jeff Hardy, but I respect the guy for his bounce-back ability and "never quit" attitude. He's truly loved by his fans and that's evident every time he's out there.

I just don't know how much he really cares at the end of the day. Not about the fans — I'm sure he cares about them — but about the wrestling business, and his future in it.

What Did NOT Bother Me: Overall Show

From top to bottom, I thoroughly enjoyed Bound For Glory. It reminded me of what made TNA so special years ago, and different from WWE.

There were a few things I could have done without, like the Tara and Jesse moment, King Mo, the Aces & Eights stuff I mentioned, but those things are ultimately forgiven. If you're a wrestling fan, and especially a fan of TNA, you have to be proud of what they gave us last night.

The talent seriously worked their asses off from the opening bell to the final Swanton Bomb, and I just sat back and enjoyed myself.

Kudos to the Phoenix crowd as well. It's been said before, but TNA is just a different product when they take it outside the Impact Zone.

If you didn't order the pay per view, I recommend you get the replay or find it online somewhere. It was THAT good.

And remember, Nick Paglino and I will be talking more about Bound For Glory in "Nick's Pay-Per-Review" segment on the Voice of Wrestling show tonight. It airs live tonight from 6:30est, right here on WrestleZone.com and the VOW Network.
