Bully RayAl Snow confronts Joey Ryan

What I Liked:

Joey Ryan has grown on me ever since he has tried to cause chaos. Al Snow comes out and says that he will give Ryan a chance to earn a contract, if he beats Snow himself. Al Snow was surprisingly good on the microphone, did not overact his part, and Ryan finished the segment well. You need to milk Joey Ryan and his disagreement with the company as much as you can. He is connecting with the crowd in various ways, and his match with Snow will cause more interest than any other Al Snow match in recent memory.

What I Disliked:

Is Al Snow really the best option? The only gripe I have with this is that Al Snow really did not do much in his career to be evaluating talent. Maybe it is just me, but it seems like a weak choice.

Austin Aries has a member of Aces and Eights tied up in a chair and is threatening him.

Bully Ray def. Rob Van Dam

What I Liked:

Bully Ray works often in this match, focusing on weakening the limbs of Rob Van Dam. I thought the psychology of the match was solid, with Bully continuing to work on RVD's legs. We know he strikes with kicks and athletic moves, so it made perfect sense for Ray to focus on that. As the match progresses, RVD will get his natural flurry of offense, only to get hit with a picture perfect boot to his face. Bully Ray continues to gain the upper hand, countering moves and setting up for the finish. RVD looks to have Ray finished, but a Five Star Frog Splash ends with a Bubba Cutter instead for the win. It was not perfect, but looked pretty good on TV. I enjoyed the match and did not think there were many weak spots throughout. They were given into a commercial break, and really made the match worth every minute. That is the good thing about BFG series because you will always get a good match each week. They have focused on actual wrestling and solid matches each week, which is far different from what WWE is trying to do. Both have positives and negatives, but I did not see a negative here. Both men worked with their strengths, and did not give many mistakes for the crowd to see. Great work.
