SHEAMUS/DEL RIO – ONE STEP DOWN
I like Del Rio — more than most from what I gather online. Others call him boring and a waste of time; I call him a missed opportunity by WWE.
I agree that another match between Del Rio and Sheamus is the last thing I want to see, but I place the sole blame on Del Rio. Allow me to again point out my problem with Sheamus' babyface status.
I think it's almost impossible for ANYONE to gain chemistry with Sheamus in his current form. He doesn't lose and he plays and jokes around too much.
He's a walking, talking, fighting contradiction.
Additionally, I'm finding myself feeling sorry for Del Rio. That's the problem with babyface GMs. Abuse of power, double standards and hypocrisy are hard to support, yet we're supposed to enjoy Booker and Sheamus bullying ADR every week.
Del Rio challenging Sheamus again interests me very little, but I don't think splitting the two up is going to solve everything either. To be honest, the time couldn't be any better for Dolph to step up, cash in, and do something interesting with the WHC.
He certainly couldn't do much worse.
