WRESTLERS RESCUE – ONE STEP DOWN

I’ve heard or read all available sides and regardless of where the truth is (I’m sure it’s somewhere in the middle, like always), it’s a sad situation. The ongoing battle between Dawn Marie and her Wrestlers Rescue group and James “Kamala” Harris is just sad.

I always gave Dawn a lot of credit for starting this organization. It’s a great project, in theory, and I can only hope that she’s telling the truth in defense of these accusations. Otherwise, she deserves everything she has coming to her and then some.

I won’t pick a side, but I will throw a couple of things out there to consider. Mick Foley, a respected veteran in this business, wrote a public letter acknowledging Dawn’s great work, prompt payment history, and professionalism. Kevin Nash did the same.

Wrestlers Rescue was started in 2007. They’ve done a lot of very positive, successful things since their inception. Don’t completely wipe away all the good they’ve done in that timeframe.

If it’s proven, without question, that they are guilty of these things, make judgment and stop supporting them. Until then, at least give them the benefit of the doubt.

I can’t imagine they would have made it this far if these accusations were their typical business practices.

James Harris seemed sincere in his video. I don’t know him to be the type to scam fans either. He deserves the same courtesy I’m suggesting you give Dawn Marie.

It’s a bad ordeal and I hope it’s resolved amicably. Pro wrestling needs groups like Wrestlers Rescue.

I saw some comments by our visitors suggesting WrestleZone should do something to help the legends of the business. You might be right. It certainly couldn’t hurt.
