Number 3: CM Punk’s Two Victories
Wrestlemania 24 and 25 showcased the abilities of CM Punk in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. CM Punk was a completely different character, but was so important to the company. Punk won his first against guys like Jericho, Carlito, John Morrison, Benjamin, and others. He would go back to back the next year by beating Kane, Mark Henry, MVP, Christian, and others in Houston. The reason why this is so important is because they invested so much time into Punk. This is basically a year long committment to someone, no matter what happens to them. He would thrive in great storylines, and would face Rey Mysterio the following Mania. Punk would face the likes of Undertaker, someone who was already established. Punk had the opportunity to learn from some of the best, while cashing in on Raw and shocking the world. I remember that Raw because it happened at the beginning of the show out of nowhere. He was full of surprises, and this helped him evolve into who he is today.
