Number 4: The Victory of Awesome
Many will argue that this was not as important as Number 5, but The Miz beat John Cena at Wrestlemania 27. He was involved with Cena and The Rock, even if he was overshadowed. He got the last laugh. The Miz would win a great Ladder match in 2010 and cash in on Randy Orton on Raw. After weeks of teasing, Miz finally took advantage to capture his first WWE Championship. He became relevant in an instant. The Miz was viewed as a joke by many veterans, including JBL. Nonetheless, Miz worked his tail off and did such an excellent job at becoming the number one heel in 2010-2011. He would soon fall off the radar a bit, but this was so crucial for his success and the development of a guy who is not a traditional wrestler. Miz was as hot as anyone at this time, and his win was surprising.
