Wrestlezone’s Top 10: Money in the Bank Moments

Number 5: Careers Changed

Daniel Bryan

It all started one year ago. Daniel Bryan was relegated to WWE Superstars matches, useless feuds, and a United States Championship run that many people forget. With the insertion into Money in the Bank, Bryan was an underdog to certain guys like Wade Barrett, Kane, and Sheamus. Hell, even Sin Cara was getting more of a push than Bryan, someone who was working his ass off. WWE Creative made an intelligent move and gave Bryan the victory in a great ladder match filled with excellent spots. You can remember Sin Cara getting powerbombed through a ladder courtesy of Sheamus. This made the crowd go crazy for Sheamus, who is now a top 3 face in the company. Also, it made Wade Barrett more relevant, as he would feud with Orton a few months later. This ladder match was laughed at because of Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel, but the outcome changed so many careers. In retrospect, this is where 4 careers were changed. Bryan is now completely over, Sheamus is a face World Heavyweight Champion, Barrett is teased at a huge push when he returns, and Kane went away for a while and brought back the mask.
