Title This: WWE Smackdown “Great American Bash” Reaction

Cody RhodesCody Rhodes def. Christian to Qualify for Money in the Bank

What I Liked:

Finally, after about 35 minutes of no action inside of the ring, Christian and Cody deliver. The match itself was excellent for a few reasons. I loved how both guys utilized all parts of the ring, including the ring posts, the ropes, and even the smaller area outside of the ropes. Rhodes and Christian are so good at timing and have excellent flows to their matches. The offensive attacks were carried by Christian for a while, including a DDT and his usual strikes from the middle ropes. Cody finished him off after a great series of reversals, and connected with Cross Roads. You can tell both guys know how to work the opponents over for a long duration.

What I Disliked:

Nothing, this was a great match that had angles being built over the entire match. There is also a greater picture.

– Backstage, Teddy is at the BBQ. Zack Ryder talks with Heath Slater who sings. Ryder plays Brodus' music and he comes out and dances.

Dolph Ziggler def. Alex Riley to Qualify for Money in the Bank

What I Liked:

I knew Dolph would be entered one way or another. The match was quick and effective, and was not a competitive match for Ziggler. Ziggler looked great with the few moves he exectued.

What I Disliked:

I would rather have someone who we were made to believe, even for a second, that could upset Ziggler. There was no drama or even any moment where you thought Riley would win. When Riley is never seen on television, it is hard to believe that he will beat a guy like Ziggler. Dolph is at the top of his game, and is my favorite to win Money in the Bank. He deserves it, but I am skeptical if they will go through with it.
