Number 4: Paul Bearer
Embattled in a huge feud with Mankind, The Undertaker was a guy that the WWE knew they were going to have a star in the making. This kept his fuel loaded, as Undertaker would be attacked by Paul Bearer. After 6 years, Bearer would turn his back on the guy he brought into the company and lead Mankind to the urn. Summerslam was a great way and an even better atmosphere for this to occur. At a time where Undertaker needed to separate himself and continue his push, Bearer turning heel was shocking and absolutely the right call. He would come back for Taker, and had Kane in his pocket. That struck gold as well with creativity, but it all started with this night. Paul Bearer helping Mankind was something that nobody saw coming. Was it too soon? Was it perfectly timed? Those are questions that fans will always ask in retrospect.
