The Rock def. John Cena:
What I Liked:
You could feel the electricity in the stadium from the very beginning. We were not going to get a match with huge spots like Hell in a Cell, or a technical showcase like Punk and Jericho, but they delivered. Cena And Rock worked so well together in the ring, even though it took a few minutes to really get going. I felt like Cena showed a lot here, especially targeting the ribs of Rock with punchess followed by a belly to belly suplex. The Rock looked great, worked the crowd over well, and even added a few moves to his arsenal. We received a Rock with a great respect in the ring with Cena, knowing that both men are somewhat limited in what they can do. Cena carried a good bit of the match, and even looked like a big time heel when trying to steal Rock's move. The end was fitting for me, Rock capitalizing on the one big Cena mistake. Rock bottom at the end got the crowd unglued once again. Great ending to the night.
What I Disliked:
The Rock looked a little winded at the end of the match, which I was shocked to see. It hurt a little bit in the progression from move to move. Cena relied on what got him to the dance, which I was hoping he brought some new moves to the table. Either way, whether you loved or hated Rock winning, it was what the Miami crowd wanted. This was the right decision. They book for this night, no matter if they will be around or not in May. They do not care as much as a random PPV or Raw a few months from now. Rock not being around is not a valid excuse for him HAVING to lose. This is the culmination of a whole year. Well done.
