Randy Orton/Kane – One Step Down
I don't know why I'm not buying it. I'm just not.
I like Orton and Kane, too.
Maybe it's because the two men were on opposites ends of the wrestling universe just two months ago. Orton's primary focus has been Wade Barrett on Smackdown, while Kane had that awkward, ultimately worthless thing going on with Cena/Ryder on Raw.
Now, this match feels like a "last resort" effort for both men. It probably is.
Tell me if I'm missing something here. I understand that the injury to Barrett derailed the original 'Mania plans for Orton, but those circumstances don't make me enjoy this feud anymore. I just don't think it was a good fit for either men at this point and I guess I can't quite get a pulse on why I feel that way.
