#1. Dolph Ziggler Only In 1 Match
WWE teased the idea of Dolph being in two matches for the third consecutive PPV, which I believe would have been a WWE record. I'm positive WWE is aware of this fact, so why are they not doing it? Not only should they do it, they should promote it, hype it, and make it seem like a big deal – even if it's not in most fans' eyes.
There's still time for them to change their minds, but I don't see them adding him to the title match with Punk, Del Rio and Miz. If that's the case, where else can you put him on the card? I can't see any other spot that would actually make sense.
The idea of him being in two matches in one night was not only a unique and fresh way to spotlight the future star, but it was also an easy out for him dropping the U.S. title to Ryder. Maybe that's the point – to help Ryder get over more when he beats Dolph clean in his only match of the night. If that is true, then your logic is fine, but your priorities are not. Ziggler has the brighter immediate future, so protection should be given to him over your next U.S. Champion. At least, one would think.
My advice: Find a way to get Dolph involved in another match at TLC. Let him drop to Ryder and get it out of the way. Then, move on to the Rumble and if he doesn't win, at least allow him to be in the final four. Give him "Money in the Bank" next year and let him ride it to his first Championship. Thank you, good night.
No worries, Vince. I'll just bill ya.
