Just like last week, I will score each segment on a -5 to +5 scale, adding all of the scores up to come up with a final score for Raw. You can read last weeks Swingometer by clicking here.
Segment 1: John Cena promo interrupted by The Miz & R-Truth, Zack Ryder run in. Score: -1
As much as they should promote The Rock’s Raw appearance for next week, I question whether it was wise for Cena to raise the fact in the first five minutes of the show. How many people simply decided to turn off and come back next week? Other than that I will give Cena & Miz credit for trying to find some sanity within this current story, but it just didn’t click for me. I added a point for Ryder’s run out, got a great pop and nice to see WWE taking his popularity seriously.
Running score: -1
A good match between these two, although you feel on the right stage they could do much much more. Two points for the match, knocked one off for Ziggler losing, but added it back on for Morrison winning. He’s far too good to stay in the dog house.
Running Score: +1 (-1,+2)
Segment 3: Mason Ryan def. JTG. Score: +1
Logical given that we’re in the UK they gave Ryan a match (although where was Drew McIntyre?). I’ll give it a point simply because they seem to be doing something with him.
Running Score: +2 (-1,+2,+1)
Segment 4: Alberto Del Rio def. Kofi Kingston Score: +1
Kofi, you know who to thank for that quick defeat 🙂 Another minor + for Del Rio winning. Doesn’t happen enough as main champion.
Running Score: +3 (-1,+2,+1,+1)
