The Cashbox: 5 Reasons Why Raw Disappointed This Week

The last time (prior to Raw) we saw Miz and Truth on a WWE program, they were getting arrested and hauled off at "Hell in a Cell".  It was a great sight with everyone locked out of the cage while they were beating Cena, Del Rio and Punk down on the inside.  Dropping to their knees when it was time to be cuffed was a nice touch too.

They were rebels that night. There's nothing rebellious about getting "hired" back a week later.  Even worse, they got beat up on top of that.

I'm aware there's still a bigger plan in store for these two and that's the only reason I didn't throw my remote at the tv when Raw was going off the air.  Miz and Truth suffered on Monday what Punk has been suffering from recently as well – rushed angles and inconsistency.

Miz and Truth are fresh.  They compliment each other exceptionally well and each have credibility with the WWE Universe as singles competitors, which makes it easier to transition into an effective tag team.  They are one of the better makeshift tag teams to come around in years.

None of that means anything if they are arrested one week and back to sing-song silliness the next.
