Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara
After weeks of two men dressed up as the same character, confusing the hell out of the fans, we finally have two different versions of the Sin Cara! If you missed Smackdown, the heel Sin Cara (if there actually is one) debuted his shiny new black ensemble, making tonight's match a little bit easier to understand. Hopefully this isn't a one-off match, as there's very little understandable build going in to this one. We have weeks of finger pointing and one very crude explanation of what this is all about. The story here is that the imposter Sin Cara was once the original Mistico, while the “real” Sin Cara stole his identity as a lucha libre star. In a classic heel maneuver, the imposter stole the character of Sin Cara during the real one's time off. There's really not a whole lot more to this feud right now, and given that there's no stipulation the outcome really doesn't matter. At worst we got a botched lucha-style match, but with the history these two apparently share in the ring, I'm told we're in for quite a treat. I still can't help but feel it's a little bit rushed though… No doubt the Sin Cara name will be on the line come Survivor Series.
Prediction: Sin Cara wins. Um…the blue one, this time.
