Sin Cara
ONE HESITANT STEP UP

I think the Sin Cara character is great, regardless who is wearing the mask.  I'm not behind the scenes and clearly can't see everything that goes on back there, but it just seems like Mistico (the original person to work the gimmick) has had a very rough road in his short time with the company thus far.

Should he take that long for him to get adjusted to the "WWE style"?  I have no idea, but he's on Smackdown and edits are available.  You hired him because of what he can do in the ring – relieve some of the pressure you've put on him and let him do his thing.

Did he honestly not know the drugs he was taking were on the list?  It's hard to buy that completely, but either way, it's his first strike.  Sit someone down with him, make sure he's clear on what "not" to take (or hell, it's a shorter list telling him what he "can" take more than likely) and if he screws up again, you still have other options.

Sin Cara will probably never be a true replacement to Rey Mysterio – he can't talk – but he's the closest thing you have right now.  He's fun to watch, has a mask that will also sell, and he relates to the same demographic you have Mysterio there to reach.

Sin Cara won this past week on Smackdown and even if it was against Heath Slater, it's still a "W".  Personally, without a Light Heavyweight/Cruiserweight Division available on WWE television, I don't think Sin Cara can ever reach any significant level of success, but there are rumblings of that being a possibility.

Here's to hoping that becomes a reality and there's something more available for guys like Sin Cara than just flying around a ring.
