The culmination of not only an incredible storyline but an incredible career saw Bryan triumph in the main event of WrestleMania XXX. He was the underdog who faced the Authority. The Authority denied him for months and did everything in their power to make his life a living hell.
While Bryan wasn’t originally in the plans to main event WrestleMania XXX, the incredible fan support led to a huge change. One thing led to another and he faced Triple H in the WrestleMania opener, resulting in him being added to the WWE World Heavyweight title match against Randy Orton and Batista.
Bryan would triumph in the main event in arguably the greatest underdog moment in WWE history. It felt like a true victory and one of the sweetest payoffs to a storyline.
