While it’s been known that Lita and Trish Stratus were among Bayley’s biggest influences growing up, what many don’t know is that her ring gear with the tassels is inspired by The “Macho Man” Randy Savage, who she’s cited time and again as her biggest influence. She even uses his elbow drop as a tribute to him.
Her other influences include The Hardy Boyz, Victoria, Ivory, Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero and Triple H. It must’ve been surreal for The Hugger to be associated so closely with Triple H after idolizing him for years. What’s even more interesting is to observe how and where she’s incorporated her influences in the ring.
