While Bayley has stated on multiple occasions that she would’ve loved to have been a part of the Attitude Era to wrestle her idols such as Lita and Trish Stratus, what many don’t know is that former WWE superstar Serena Deeb took The Hugger under her wing. In 2010 when Bayley was just getting her career started under the name ‘Davina Rose’, she would wrestle for Shimmer Women’s Athletes.
Here, she would encounter former WWE superstar Serena Deeb, who she teamed up with. If you’re not aware, Deeb was a part of CM Punk’s faction “Straight Edge Society”, where she famously had her head shaved off. It would prove a valuable learning experience as Serena helped Bayley get to the right direction that would eventually send her to a path of fame in WWE.
