Humberto Carrillo and Rey Mysterio briefly interacted on-screen and are two babyfaces, so it likely wouldn’t translate into a grudge match. However, Carrillo is only 24 and still has a “fresh face” look about him – a superstar who has a lot of work left to do, a big character yet to debut and untapped potential.
Mysterio may not bring all of that out of him, but he could certainly get the best out of him in the ring. They could have a “friendly” competitive rivalry in between PPVs as a television feud and it could be instrumental in the development of Carrillo as an on-screen character.
