#3.) Masterclass of psychology and storytelling
The AEW World Championship match started off slow. Many wondered why a grudge match would have wrist locks in it, but things eventually played out and the storytelling was nothing short of a masterclass. It seems as though anything Cody Rhodes touches turns to gold and that was exemplified in both the World title match and the angle after it.
MJF turning on Cody was something that was inevitable, but the entire build to it was fantastic. AEW proved that not only do they have matches that are in-ring classics, but they know exactly how to have psychological masterclass matches as well.
