The TV show is going to be far more important and defining to AEW in the long run than their PPVs will be. While more eyes are obviously on PPVs and the bigger stages, it’s the week-to-week programming that AEW really needs to focus on. They have a great platform in TNT and need to do everything they can to rope in the casual audience.
We’ve seen them deliver with big PPVs, but the real difference-maker is going to be how they approach their TV show. And as of this moment, all we can do is question how they plan to keep the momentum alive at these early stages.
