WWE has always loved “odd pairings”. While the number of “odd pairing” storylines have definitely increased in the last 3 years (owing to The Bar’s incredible success), it’s something that has been around for a very long time. It’s just that we’ve been seeing it a lot more lately. Regardless, it’s not always going to work out.
