#3.) Push slightly edgier content
Now there has always been a big cry from fans to move back to the TV-14 rating from the Attitude Era. WWE has dabbled around a bit recently with some non-PG moments and it made many fans realize that only edgy content won’t do. The PG Era has still had a lot of benefits which people often don’t realize and what WWE really needs to do is find that perfect “in-between” spot where they can push slightly edgier content while also keeping a PG rating.
The PG rating still makes WWE a whole lot of money so it’ll be very hard to forgo that.
