#1.) Low expectations = a better PPV
We’re not going to go out of our way to say that Stomping Grounds was one of the best PPVs of the year because it wasn’t. But what was clear was that the low expectations helped fans perceive it as a great PPV. There’s no doubt that when the expectations are low, WWE tends to deliver in a big way.
WrestleMania 31 is perhaps the best example of this but it’s good to see that WWE managed to deliver on that front.
