With Lesnar having been on RAW the past seven years, not only is it time for a change, but the fact of the matter is that the blue brand simply needs him more. With the FOX deal signed and happening just around the corner, executives have likely been pressuring WWE to have some major names over on SmackDown such as Brock Lesnar.
It comes at a good time because we’re at a juncture where Lesnar is need of a fresh start. It’s basically a win-win and going after the WWE Championship means that he’ll be SmackDown-exclusive property.
