#1.) Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns is by far the best possible option for Goldberg as an opponent. They teased a match against each other in 2017 when they had a staredown and perhaps that was done with the hope that someday, they could run it in a big show. They have the opportunity to do so, because Roman Reigns is now on SmackDown and hasn’t gotten involved in any major title feud just yet.
He will inevitably become WWE Champion again, but before that, WWE may want to build that up with a high-profile win. Moreover, Roman Reigns is the only superstar on this list who would be guaranteed to defeat Goldberg.
