Drew McIntyre may have lost to Roman Reigns in an average WrestleMania match, but he was never going to win that one anyway. Despite the loss, it won’t be too difficult to get his momentum back. All he needs is an interesting storyline and to earn his way to a number one contender’s spot.
McIntyre has been around the main roster again for around a year now and he’s more than ready to challenge for a top title and more than ready to main event a PPV as well. The plan was always for McIntyre to become a big star and he can do exactly that by competing for the Universal Championship.
