#3.) Aleister Black & Ricochet say goodbye
With Aleister Black and Ricochet looming on the main roster, already competing for the SmackDown Tag titles, it seemed inevitable that their NXT run would come to an end. For Ricochet, it was a little over a year since he made his debut. For Aleister Black, it was just around 2 years ago, as he made his debut at WrestleMania 33 weekend.
Just last year around this period, he won the NXT Championship. He and Ricochet won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in 2019, earning an NXT tag title shot. While it came as no surprise, the War Raiders did beat the duo and showed respect to them as they said goodbye to NXT. Black and Ricochet were always an integral part of the yellow brand, and they leave a great legacy behind as they move on to bigger things.
