Jack Gallagher had quite some momentum heading into Fastlane 2017, where he took on the recently-crowned Cruiserweight king Neville. Now we all know that Cruiserweight matches at that time weren’t given ther fair due by the WWE Universe. Despite the lack of reactions at first, Neville and Gallagher would put on an absolute clinic, getting the crowd off their feet to chant “This is awesome”.
Though Gallagher came up short (to the dismay of the audience), it proved to be a fantastic showing from him and further cemented Neville’s reign as a legitimate champion.
