The Empress Of Tomorrow Asuka makes this list for sheer dominance. She was dubbed as the most dominant champion in NXT history, and rightfully so. At 523 days (510 when accounting for taping delay), Asuka is the single longest reigning champion in NXT history. She would end up running through the entire NXT Women’s division, playing an important role in every Takeover she was a part of.
It took her all but two NXT Takeovers before she ended up earning a title shot and subsequently winning the title. Her importance in NXT was so much that Triple H himself revealed that he had to personally tell Vince McMahon not to call her up because she was like the “anchor” to the ship of NXT.
Moreover, she had some absolute classics, having the best NXT Women’s title reign ever by far.
