Cody Rhodes and Dean Ambrose too have crossed paths multiple times in WWE, albeit when Ambrose was with The Shield. It led to one of the most interesting storylines at that period of time. It saw the involvement of the late, great Dusty Rhodes as well and Cody Rhodes and his brother Goldust would end up winning the tag team championship.
The Cody now is very different from the Cody Rhodes in his WWE days. As we’ve seen, he’s made a bigger name for himself outside the company and has even made a successful transition into the promotional backstage side of things. He’s almost improved tremendously as an in-ring performer and would be a good match for The Lunatic Fringe.
