#4.) 2-hour format
We can’t begin to emphasize on how much of a difference the one hour less makes. It’s crazy to think that WWE, for years now, have gone 52 weeks in a calendar year with a 3-hour program each week. It’s incredibly difficult for any creative team to write so much content on a week-to-week basis.
The fact that SmackDown has just two hours of content means that: 1) It’s much easier viewing; 2) More emphasis on quality content, and 3) Not every superstar is featured on a week-to-week basis. It’s good that way because it actually helps make some superstars more special.
