#1.) Lack of surprises
Again, this is one of those cases which has both positive and negative aspects to it. We love the fact that WWE chose to use multiple NXT superstars instead of legends and part-timers. However, there were a general lack of surprises that the Royal Rumble usually features. The Nia Jax incident at the Men’s Royal Rumble was a surprise, but not a well-received one.
With that said, it didn’t affect the match as a whole and they did a decent job of her appearance. She sold well and didn’t impact the finish of the match.
