#5.) vs Jeff Hardy – Invasion 2001
Rob Van Dam may have been a heel when he debuted during the Invasion storyline in 2001, but fans knew exactly who he was. He was good, and he proved that in his debut match against Jeff Hardy at the Invasion PPV. It was for the Hardcore Championship and the two, as you can probably imagine, stole the show. They put on a clinic and RVD would end up winning the Hardcore title.
It was a great way to start off his WWE run, and he would actually get cheered quite a bit in the storyline. He would continue his feud with Hardy and they exchanged the title a few times after that.
