Ember Moon found quite some success in NXT. She was built up from the start, and fans who followed her on the independent scene knew that the young “Athena” was a big prospect. She actually failed a few WWE tryouts, but her resilience would get her through it all. She was simply too talented to be denied, and it’s no surprise that her NXT title run was cut short so she could move up to the main roster.
She’s beaming with potential, and though she hasn’t been involved in a major storyline yet, her time will come. If there’s anything that we’ve noticed about the women’s division over the last few years, it’s that the division is rotational in terms of which superstars get focused on. While she may not be the front and center, it’s hard to imagine her not winning the Women’s Championship at some point. She’s one of the best in-ring performers in the division, and she’s going to go a long way.
