Kofi Kingston has made history by winning almost every title there is to win in WWE. As per cumulative days, there’s no wrestler in WWE history who has been a tag team champion longer than Kingston has. But even before he had all the tag team success, fans knew that Kingston is a world champion-level athlete.
He seemed to be getting a push in 2009 in a feud against Randy Orton, but one botch seemed to bring his push to a halt. He’s an undeniable future Hall Of Famer, but many fans still hold hope that someday, he’ll break into singles stardom and go for the world championship.
It doesn’t need to be an extended run. They could always experiment for a few months to see how he does on that level. But one thing is for sure – Kofi deserves the world title.
