Sheamus and Cesaro represented a change in the tag team division. Up to that point, it was just The New Day dominating every team, or using nefarious tactics to desperately cling on to their titles. It did lead to a record-breaking reign, but the truth is that fans were getting tired of the reign.
Sheamus & Cesaro began to become the new focus of the division, They finally dethroned The New Day to become tag team champions, ending their record-breaking reign.
