Almas’ undeniable weakness is his mic skills. While he’s likely a very good promo in Spanish, he’s yet to master English, and this would hamper his promo skills. Thankfully, the creative powers that be decided early on pair him with Thea Trinidad then renamed Zelina Vega. Vega is not only a good talker, but she adds an element to Almas and his character.
More than anything, she’s proven that she’s not just a mouthpiece. She’s a fierce woman and competitor in her own right. Having Hispanic heritage herself makes her match-up with Almas well and it seems as though backstage officials like the Vega-Almas pairing. For all we know, Vega might usher in the rebirth of managers in WWE!
