Cedric Alexander has had an incredible journey in the wrestling business. Starting at 2005, Alexander had to overcome quite a few hurdles to make it to where he is today. Given that he’s one of the most agile athletes in all of WWE, you’d think that he comes from an athletic background. But upon his own admission, it’s the opposite of the truth.
Alexander was more of the school “nerd” type, having interest in things such as pro wrestling and anime rather than sports. Even so, his persistence and resilience in training brought out the real athleticism in him, and since then, he’s stunned millions of people across the world with his incredible high-flying style.
Before Alexander became the leader of the Cruiserweight division, he was a big independent wrestling prospect, clearly talented enough for various promotions to put their titles on him. He spent a good part of his career in ROH, where he grew as a performer despite not finding much singles success.
