After realizing that he didn’t want to be a part of TNA, Omega had an opportunity to realize his dreams and go to Japan. At Harley Race’s wrestling school, there was a bit of a competition, with the winner being awarded a contract with Pro Wrestling NOAH. Although Omega didn’t win, he was confronted by none other than John Laurinaitis, who seemed impressed and offered him a WWE contract.
Though he was disappointed at not getting to go to Japan, he knew that passing the opportunity with WWE would be foolish. He took the deal and went to Deep South Wrestling (DSW), but things didn’t really work out as expected. Issues with trainer Bill DeMott saw Omega request a release from his contract, and it was granted to him. Sometimes, things just work out for the better.
